About Us

Wallis Computer Solutions (WCS) was initially started officially on the 3rd November 1999. The day before my Year 12 exams started! It started from a business plan that was created by Nat Wallis (Managing Director) as part of the school assessment. One of the first jobs was to assist with the setup and configuration for the newly formed Dalwallinu Telecentre Inc.

With the lead up to Y2K (for those that can remember) and also the start of GST there was a big push to update systems or to get a computer system for accounting. I can still remember June 2000, I did over $40K in sales in a month which I thought was pretty impressive considering the business plan has us down for around $100K in sales in total for the first year!

Being born and raised in Dalwallinu I have always enjoyed the country lifestyle and the business would give me that opportunity. There was also a personal issue with “Whiskey” but that is a story that you only get in person when you ply me with some quality Blue Label 😀

WCS offers a unique solution in the Wheatbelt area of WA as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT Sales and Support to over 100 customers from Esperance to Gascoyne Junction to Margaret River. There is (to my knowledge, if incorrect please let me know) no other MSP style IT business in the entire Wheatbelt.

Local Governments

Local Government is a key focus for Wallis Computer Solutions, and we are proud to support councils across the Western Australian Wheatbelt.

We currently provide full IT sales and support to 18 Local Governments, along with additional consulting services for other shires. Our team has strong experience supporting Local Government environments, including Readytech products such as Altus, AltusECM and SynergySoft.

As councils transition to new ERP solutions, we are also working with ReadyTech and OST to support the move away from SynergySoft and help ensure these changes are managed smoothly.

We also place a strong focus on cyber security, including practical improvements and alignment with the Essential Eight framework to help councils strengthen their systems and reduce risk.

Medical Practices

Wallis Computer Solutions manages IT systems for several medical centres across the Wheatbelt, giving us practical experience with clinical software such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector and other healthcare-specific systems.
